Iwan Wyn Roberts (born 26 June 1968 in Bangor, Gwynedd)[2] is a Welsh former professional footballer who played as a striker from 1986 to 2006

Abstract
Dafydd Iwan, the current President of the Welsh nationalist party, Plaid Cymru, has been a key figure in the significant renewal of national identity Wales has witnessed since the 1960s. While his contribution has been many-faceted, it is arguably as a singer-songwriter that he has been most influential.
