Lonnie Barbach, PhD, has worked a couple’s therapist for more than three decades and is the coauthor of Going the Distance: Finding and Keeping Lifelong Love, which she wrote with her partner of 25 years and which has defined her as an acknowledged expert on intimate relationships.
As one of the first codirectors of clinical training at the University of California San Francisco's Human Sexuality Progam, Barbach created the women’s preorgasmic group treatment program. Considered a leader in her field, her dozen books, translated into an equal number of languages, have sold more than 4 million copies in the Unites States alone.
