Smiti Aggarwal
Smiti Aggarwal completed her Bachelors of Technology in Information Technology in 2018 after which she joined the MSBA Class of 2019. Her interest in the field of Data Analytics was sparked during her internship at Bluestacks where she worked on marketing analytics project for their online marketing campaigns. Her other internship during her undergraduation was at Amazon as part of the Amazon Campus Mentorship Series.
After joining the program she worked part time as a data scientist at Systech Solutions, an analytics consulting firm. Smiti worked on developing an anomaly detection solution and a recommender system for their retail clients.
She also volunteered on a data science project at the City of LA, Mayor’s Office to contribute to their data analytics ventures. Her project involved creating visualisation to understand the difference in the supply and demand of jobs in Los Angeles, particularly in the area of nursing and construction.
Smiti is passionate about working with consumer related data to unmask financially significant insights. She wants to use this program to develop expertise in leveraging data analytics for strategic decision making.
